Just for Wendy, the teapot DD painted for DH.

Pottery cafes are quite trendy now, but the advantage of living in the ceramics centre of the western world is there are loads to choose from. I love Emma Bridgewater's designs and their pottery cafe is brilliant. They have lots of sponge stamps so it's dead easy for a five year old to create a Emma Bridgewater-style design.

Oh it's lovely, she has made a really good job of it. I took my two to a ceramics cafe a while ago but the results were nowhere near as, hmmm how shall we put it, controlled? The trouble is if you mix the colours a lot the result can be rather muddy but it is hard to explain that to a 3 year old.

Oh thanks for posting that for me. Tell DD she has done an excellent job on that pot and anyone would be thrilled to have a cuppa served fro it. Beautiful.
