I need your help...

I have too much fabric.

(well actually I think I've got a fine amount of fabric but apparently in the eyes of the house-buying public I have too much. You'd think boxes of fabric would ENCOURAGE people to purchase your house, but I'm told not. Crazy world.)

So some of it needs to go to good homes. Time for a giveaway!

Leave a comment or email me (petulant at vegemail dot com) and I'll send you a selection pack. Let me know your preferred colours, textures, patterned or plain. If you're not in the UK I'll probably make it a slightly smaller pack to cut down my postage costs, but you'll still get some. You can use it for anything, pass it on to anyone else, enjoy it in any way you want, just please don't sell it as fabric.

And in exchange... after I've moved (please don't send me anything before I move, I've got enough problems with what I've got!), send me a welcome-to-your-new-home card so it will feel all cosy and homely even if we are surrounded by boxes.

Never one to ignore a plea for help ;)

Last time we moved, I stashed a table and 2 chairs in my car every time we had a viewing - the things we have to do - tsk tsk.

yay yay! I can always find space for fabrics. What is a vast studio for anyway?
I'm seriously short of anything blue and green, as most of my fabric buying is reds. I like natural fibres, but other than that, I don't mind at all. How exciting.
Best of luck with moving, I totally sympathise, I've done it 14 times in the last 10 years, and you can probably imagine how much fabric I own...

I could use a freshen upper in my fabric stash. Top choice of colors would be blue, red and pink. Good luck with the move. We've moved 10 times since 1998 so I feel like a pro at it.

big hugs-
lorib

Oooh, ooh, I'm in. Though, I am indeed overseas, so I'll gladly accept a tinier package. Feel free to email me at elizabooth[at]gmail[dot]com for address exchanging purposes.

Oh, and I like prints, pinks, reds, whatever. I like it all.

What a grand idea! When I last moved, we had to build a shed in the back yard for all of my fabric & fibre.

I pretty much like everything that isn't brown, but prefer bright colours (esp. pinks, reds, blues and green) and I'm particularly partial to black and white prints. I also love fabric with interesting textures.

I'm in Australia and I'd be happy to paypal you to cover postage costs.

Hidey-hye! I'm in Australia too and happy to PayPal or exchange (certainly a little home-warmer). I'd *love* some of your fabric stash if there is some available. Thank you so much!

That is a lovely idea! I'm in Africa, so understand if you don't want to post to here. I don't have a stash per se so anything is welcome.
